Narratives of Care; Past, Present and Future.

This particular project was aimed to celebrate the NHS. We gathered information from different sources such as people who have used the NHS or have worked for them, We then responded to the information collected. I was particularly intrigued by an analogy someone had said where the different members of staff in the NHS are similar to the cogs of a rollercoaster, each one working together in sync, if one was to brake the whole rollercoaster itself would break. I took this analogy and found it similar to the purpose of each string in a tapestry. On a home-made loom I created my own tapestry, using colours which i feel represent the NHS. I then illustrated the NHS logo, cogs, and the uniform of a member of staff, emphasising the importance of each rol.
